The Comic Shack

We ship your comics, cards, Funkos, Hot Wheels, and collectibles on a set weekly schedule so you always know when to expect your order.

Dispatch Days

Deliveries go out every Tuesday and Thursday, unless otherwise stated.
If your order is placed:

Before Tuesday's cut-off → it ships that Tuesday.
Between Tuesday and Thursday's cut-off → it ships that Thursday.
After Thursday's cut-off → it ships the following Tuesday.

Each customer will be personally emailed with their dispatch confirmation and tracking details on the day their order goes out. Keep an eye on your inbox (and spam folder, just in case).
Delivery Timeframes
Once dispatched, estimated courier delivery times are:

Major centres (Pretoria, Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban): 1–3 business days
Regional areas: 3–5 business days
Outlying / remote areas: 5–7 business days

These are courier estimates and not guaranteed. Delays can occasionally happen due to load shedding, weather, public holidays, or courier volume — we'll always keep you updated if we're aware of an issue affecting your order.

Exceptions to the Schedule
Dispatch days may shift or be skipped when:

A public holiday falls on a Tuesday or Thursday.

We're waiting on stock to arrive from an import shipment.
There's a system, courier, or supplier issue beyond our control.

In any of these cases, you'll be personally emailed to let you know the new dispatch day for your order.

Pre-Orders

Pre-order items ship on the next available Tuesday or Thursday after the item arrives at our warehouse. Release dates are set by manufacturers and suppliers and can shift — if your pre-order is delayed, we'll email you directly with the updated timeline.

Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you'll receive:

A dispatch email from The Comic Shack

A tracking number and courier details

Please allow a few hours after dispatch for tracking information to go live on the courier's system.
Incorrect Address or Failed 

Delivery

Please double-check your delivery address at checkout. If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect address, an unavailable recipient, or a failed delivery attempt, re-delivery will be charged at the standard shipping rate.
